Who Needs More Frogs?

In Exodus God plagued Egypt with a multitude of frogs that covered the land. Then in response to that miracle, the Egyptian magicians brought more frogs into the land. What a dumb thing to do. Who needs more frogs when they are already covering every visible surface.

Many times we add frogs to a situation by adding sin to sin. Someone treats us wrong (a frog) and we in turn treat them wrong (more frogs). Our brother or sister mistreat us (frog), and we look for a way to get revenge (more frogs). Have you added frogs to you situations this week.

Remember the old saying, "2 Wrongs don't make 1 Right."

Who Needs More Frogs? No One

Standing Between the Blessing and the Curse

I hope you enjoyed listening to these messages last week. Lets just ask one simple question.

As you listened to the message, I am sure you thought of some areas in your life where you are standing between the blessing and the curse. What areas do you see this truth real in your life?

Summer Sermon Series: The Sights and Sound of Sodom and Gomorrah

What Is The Most Shocking Truth Presented In The Message: The Sights and Sounds of Sodom and Gomorrah? What were you most surprised about? What Bible verse stuck out to you the most that explains that this lifestyle is a sin against God?

Leave your comments below. Also read the comment of others and reply to them if you like.

Wisdom From The Wild

Last week we look at Matthew chapter 4 to where Jesus called Peter and Andrew to follow him and become fishers of men. Remember that if we are not FISHING for MEN we are not FOLLOWING HIM. Don't forget to ask God for a burden for lost souls. Your friends, neighbors, classmates, strangers. Souls are everywhere. Christians need to constantly be aware of the souls of men. More than likely lost people are not going to come to us looking to get saved. We are going to have to come to them.

What is the first question that come to mind when someone ask if you want to go fishing?

My wife asked, "Do I have to touch the worm." =)

Leave a comment of your question.

Last month we examined the Bible idea of faith and saw that faith is not something you try to obtain but rather something you do. This week we will continue our series on Faith. We will examine the faith of Abel and see that we too can have this kind of faith. We will study is Family, Flock, and Faith. Invite someone to come to Living Proof this Wednesday night at 7.

This message will have a clear presentation of the Gospel. If you have a friend that is unsaved or you are not sure, invite them to hear this message.

Developing A Biblical Vision For My Life

Proverbs 29:18 says, "Where there is no vision the people perish." We need in our own life a Bible vision of what God could use our life to do. Many of us dream of all sorts of goals or things we want in life, but are any of those dreams eternal? Are any of your goals for the Lord? Just imagine what God could do with your life? God used William Carey to reach thousands of people for Christ in India. God used John Jasper to reach thousands of people in Virginia after the Civil War, and God still wants to use people the same way today. Have you ever stopped and considered what God could do with you? You see, God is not looking for someone with greatness. He alone is GREAT! God is not looking for someone with power. He has all the POWER anyone needs. God is looking for someone who will be available. All through out the Bible, God uses flawed men who are yielded to Him to accomplish great things to glorify God. God is still working in that very same way today.

I challenge you to listen to the Living Proof messages on our website, and ask God to give you a vision (truth from God's Word) of what he wants to do with your life.

What In The World Is God Doing In My LIfe?

Last weeks message, "What in the World is God Doing in My Life?" did not get recorded. I do apologize for this. We will try to get it recorded and up on the website a.s.a.p.

It is important for us to be aware that God is working in our life? Hebrews reminds us that the Lord said he would never leave us nor forsake us. Therefore, we may boldly say, "The Lord is my helper, I will not fear what man shall do unto me." Let us look to see God at work in our life. I believe that this is the beginning of the beginning spoken of in Proverbs 1:7. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge. If we are going to an awareness of God in our life, we must take special note of what he is doing.

Last week I had the priviledge of going to Crown College in Knoxville, TN. The Lord showed me so many things about the ministry. He directed me to be able to witness to a man at a ski lodge. He taught great Bible truths through different services and classes that I was in. He allowed me to make a difference in the life of four of our teenagers. God did so much in my life last week, I could have written a 100-page book about it. I imagine that this is what the Psalmist had in mind when he said, "He daily loadeth me with benefits."

Please continue to check out our blog. Feel free to make comments regarding the post and sermons you read.
